LMNL ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the ALTR mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

  • Account Data: Email address, username, and authentication credentials (via third-party providers like Apple or Google).
  • User Content: The text you enter into the App, including dream logs, shadow work journals, tarot questions, and sigil intentions.
  • Birth Data: Date, time, and location of birth (if applicable for astrology features), stored locally or in the cloud account to generate charts.

B. Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage Data: Details about how you use the App, such as feature usage, Mana consumption, and streak activity.
  • Device Data: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (for debugging and analytics).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To Provide Services: Storing your journal entries, syncing data across devices, and tracking your Mana balance.
  • To Generate AI Content: Sending specific user inputs (e.g., a dream description) to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Google) to generate interpretations or images.
  • To Improve the App: Analyzing usage trends to fix bugs and prioritize new features.

3. AI and Third-Party Data Processing

ALTR utilizes third-party Artificial Intelligence services to power its core features.

  • Anonymization: When you use a feature like "Interpret Dream" or "Tarot Reading," the text of your query is sent to our AI partners (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini). We strip personally identifiable information (such as your email or User ID) from the payload whenever possible before sending it to these providers.
  • No Training: We do not use your private journal entries to train public AI models.
  • Data Retention by AI Providers: Third-party providers may temporarily retain API data for abuse monitoring purposes (typically 30 days) before deletion, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Cloud Storage: Your User Content is encrypted and stored on secure cloud servers (e.g., Supabase). We implement Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure that only you can access your private data.
  • Data Security: We use industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS) for data transmission. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your account and all associated data. You can perform this action directly within the App settings ("Delete Account").

6. Children's Privacy

ALTR is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
